Patrick recently purchased a Holsteiner mare and plans to buy another one
soon to ramp up her breeding program. The recently purchased Waters Edge
Farm mare is Rania - Saluut II / Merano / Landgraf / Consul stamm 6085.
Rania has produced four wonderful foals already and was recently bred to
Larimar, sire of last year's Seigerhengst. Rania's most notable foal is
Catano by Cathalido, bred by Silver Creek Farms and owned by W. Peralta.
Rania's motherline has produced horses at the absolute top of the sport
and they include none other than: Olympic Corlandus, Hilltops Cabaret,
Lenz - Land of Kings (1st Horse to jump 7'2"), VDL London, and Saluut
(Sire of Saluut II and 2 Olympic champions). All these horses derive from
the Blue Hen mare, Austria, which resides in Rania twice. Be on a lookout
for Waters Edge Farm’s launching breeding program!
