Waters Edge farm opened in June 1999. It is a full care facility located in the heart of Area II eventing. Fair Hill, Morven Park, Waredaca, MCTA, Seneca Valley, Marlborough, Radnor, MIddleburg, Surefire, Plantation, and Difficult Run are all less than two hours away. The farm is 63 acres situated on Piney Run Reservoir in Sykesville, Maryland. The facilities include a beautiful 70' by 200' indoor arena, with lights, mirrors, and eurofelt footing, which was completed in February 2000. There is also an outdoor arena, 150' by 200', which overlooks the farm. For those wanting to get out of the ring, we have a lot of other options. The Piney Run trail system leaves right off the property. For conditioning, we have a galloping turf as well as lots of hills to trot. |

The farm offers full care and field board. The main barn is a brand new B and D built wood and stone barn. It has 12 stalls, 2 heated tackrooms, and a wash stall with heat lamps. The upstairs of the barn has offices, a boarders lounge with kitchenette, deck, and full bathroom; and also has a 4 bedroom working students quarters. We also offer a 4 stall shed row barn, a 2 stall shed row barn, a 5 stall shed row barn, and a 7 stall bank barn. All stalls are 12 by 12 with mats, have fly spray systems and access to fans in the summer. Stall board turn out fields have new board fencing and receive hayrolls/hay in the winter. Turnout is mainly in small groups 2-6, but we also offer a few small paddocks for private turn out. Field boarders have large fields with run in sheds. These fields are grained two times a day and receive hayrolls in the winter. Field boarders also have tack room availability. |

| Waters Edge is always making improvements to the farm! We are currently adding on to our cross country course, which features fences from Beginner Novice to Preliminary. We also have just added a wood round pen - which is great for longing or starting the youngsters under saddle! We also have a new barn! With this addition, we have room for 2 boarders in the new barn and 3 boarders in the old barns - so check us out if you are interested in boarding at a top level eventing barn!
